When the sun sets over Crimson Falls, a chill flows through every citizen. The legend of Crimson Falls will always haunt our minds. The legend says that on the first eve of the month when the sun falls, blood shall flow through rapids of red. Of course no one ever suspected that it would actually happen; it was just some stupid urban legend. We are all so afraid now. Afraid that what happened to Samantha and Kristen might happen to one of us. We've all been marked. We don't know how or when, but we are. None of us can leave Crimson Fallsever. Ms. Drakon, the local witch, she says the magick that keeps us here is stronger than anything she has ever seen. She says it told her that we were all bound here until we die. Most of the town's people didnt believe her so they tried to leave. The closer they got to the border of our land, the more and more pain they would feel. I know because I tried to leave, but now I know better. So, you want to know about Crimson Falls? Come on then, stay awhile.
"Eww, gross get it off of me!" Samantha Grenhold shrieked, trying to pick up a small slimy frog off of her brand new Old Navy jeans. Samantha stood up and tossed the frog back to Jason Smith, who was laughing at her. Jason caught the frog and brought it back to the small garden where he had found it. "That is so not funny, these jeans are brand new!" Samantha said as she walked over to Jason who was still laughing softly. Samantha put her hand to his face and rubbed it gently. "Please Jason, dont do stupid things like that." Then she slapped him so hard she had left a pink handprint on the side of his face.
"Ow, fuck. That hurt." He said rubbing his cheek. Samantha started to walk off, her friends following behind her.
"No shit. It was supposed too." Samantha kept walking. Some of her friends were giggling to each other about Jason's new look.
Jason stood still watching as Samantha Grenhold and her friends walked off through the woods, back to the school. Jason slowly turned around and tripped. "Fuck." He said as he stood up, wiping the mud off of his jeans and shirt. While he wiped the brown muck off of himself, Jason thought he heard someone coming. He looked up and scanned the area. "Yo, who's there?" He asked, waiting for a reply. No one answered.
Jason turned around to see if he could see anyone coming. Just then the bell rang, and a small deer ran past him. "Great, now I'm scared of a stupid deer." Jason shook his head and started back to the school.
Then Jason heard a branch snap and he froze. Jason thought about the deer and continued walking. Then he heard someone breathing heavily behind him. He chuckled and turned around, expecting to find one of his friends standing behind him trying to scare him. But when he turned around, he had no time to react, the shadowed figure took one swing and knocked Jason's head off his shoulders. It rolled over to the garden where a small green frog hopped on top of it and croaked. Jasons dead eyes stared upward in horror.
