Summary of Thoughts:
There isn't all that much to say about this story. I wrote what I have of it in 2001 after seeing a special on TV about ATLANTIS, Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina The Teenage Witch) was co-hosting. I don't remember everything about the show, but it had a bunch of awesome theories about Atlantis in it. This story is NOT based on any of those theories what so ever. This would just be my over active imagination working overtime again. LoL. The story is about a sixteen year old girl who hates her life. Until she finds Ambrosia, a girl trapped by her own magicks in a stone. Ambrosia is from Atlantis and she tells Samantha (the 16 year-old) the truth about the fate of Atlantis and how to save it. Samantha has to find the other 5 stones and release the guardians within them. Together they will save Atlantis AND our world.
Legend states that the continent of Atlantis was lost hundreds of thousands of years ago. Some say it sank some say it was destroyed when a volcano erupted and some even say it was never there in the first place. They were all wrong. Atlantis is here and the only way to find it is to find the keys. The stones are the only keys we have to finding Atlantis and saving our world. The search is on.
Atlantis
600 BC
Ambrosia sat in the open meadows of her fathers kingdom, staring up at the peaceful blue sky. Just then she saw something above her shoot across the sky. She panicked; she had never seen anything so big in the sky. Or something that left a trail of fire behind it. Ambrosia got up from were she sat and ran to see her father, the king of Atlantis, and tell him of what she had just seen. As she ran she saw more of the large fiery rocks fall in the distance. Fire burned the vast kingdom in front of her eyes. The fiery rocks were falling faster and more frequently. Ambrosia tore off the bottom of her long dress, revealing a white silk slip. She ran faster without the tail of her dress dragging on the field. As Ambrosia got closer to the kingdom she realized that the kingdom that she had once called home was no longer there. Large areas of the palace were missing, some even suspended in the air above her. She knew that evil magicks were at work. She ran inside the empty city and up the palace steps, into her room, which was still in tact on the second floor of the palace. As fast as she could she grabbed six stones from a small round table and ran to the center of the city. The city was completely empty; there was no sign of anyone, anywhere. Ambrosia threw the stones onto the dusty floor. She took the first stone and carved a symbol into it. She did the same to the other five stones. She placed the stones in the shape of a hexagon and stood in the center of it. She screamed "Scatter!" The stones flew in different directions as a bright rainbow of colour chased up her body and into the sky. Ambrosia was gone, and so were the stones. Seconds later Atlantis was struck with another fiery rock from the sky. And was gone.
